QRM - Quality Result Management

Introducing QRM, QESTIT's result management software.

QRM is a web based result management system that stores and analyzes test results. QRM data consists of not only the measurement data but also additional information such as the traceability of the station/equipment used, configuration version and additional Unit Under Test (UUT) information.

It is a flexible system, making use of web servers, databases and ATML XML* data. This system can be setup on a single computer, servers or cloud solutions. It can be configured in different ways to match your needs and IT infrastructure. We can add new features or requirements for each customer needs.

*ATML (Automated Test Markup Language) is an XML standard to exchange test data.

How does QRM work?

QRM consists of 3 major components:

  • A Database – The test data repository in SQL Server

  • A Storage System – Storing and synchronizing test data over the internet using ATML and web services to the database in a robust and secure way

  • A Presentation and Analysis System – Presentation, report and statistical analysis of test data through a web page

Each test station has QRM storage clients post the test results as ATML XML reports to a HTTP web service that will forward data over a secured network connection or store test results to the QRM result database.

The service is very robust and for example, if network is temporary unavailable, the service will retry over and over until it succeeds.

Sites can be connected by the distributed architecture of QRM. By using the QRM Web application, test results can be viewed and analyzed as they are produced.

System Requirements for QRM

  • Microsoft Windows 10/Server 2008 R2/Server 2012 R2/Server 2016/Server 2019 with .NET 4 runtime installed.

  • On server side only: Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019
(all versions, license is not included)

  • Browsers Edge, Safari and Chrome are all supported

  • Client QRM ATML drivers available for LabVIEW, TestStand and .NET
